Bell Heights Lofts

Bell Heights Lofts is an adaptive re-use multi-family project, converting an abandoned Southwestern Bell switchgear building from the 1950s into loft-style condominiums. The beige and cast stone brick building was transformed into a New Orleans style development, with the use of antique brick, painted original brick, stone details, shutters, planter boxes and added balconies with ornate railings and canopies. The interior of the building was gutted down to its concrete structure, which is now a prominent element of interior design of each unit. Each unit expresses the 12'-0" exposed concrete ceilings and structure, while introducing new transitional finishes for the cabinets, flooring, lighting and hardware.

The development pays tribute to it's original use through it's name and small details captured throughout. Located in the gated enclave of Bell Heights at the corner of 18th & Ashland, just one block from shops, galleries and restaurants, this community offers private park areas with fountains, a 10,000 SF rooftop retreat with outdoor kitchen, garden, lounge, plunge pool, sun deck, activity lawn and amazing downtown views.
