Jeremiah I. Anyakwu is an aspiring architect and a dedicated student at the University of Houston, pursuing a Bachelor of Architecture (B.Arch) degree, expected to graduate in 2026. Passionate about using architecture as a vehicle for service, Jeremiah views the discipline as more than just design—seeing it as a way to impact communities, clients, and the world meaningfully. With a strong belief that service is at the heart of architectural practice, Jeremiah is committed to leaving a lasting impact both locally in Houston and globally.
Currently serving as Vice President alongside Crystal Nguyen President of the American Institute of Architecture Students (AIAS) at the University of Houston, Jeremiah has been instrumental in organizing assisting in key college community events such as Welcome Day, Sandcastle, and AXPizza, fostering connections between students and industry professionals. These efforts reflect a passion for guiding peers toward professional success and creating pathways for deeper engagement in the field. Driven by the desire to increase architectural knowledge and prowess, Jeremiah looks forward to continuing a journey of architectural exploration, service, and leadership as he applies hands-on skills as a Junior Designer at Mirador Group, gaining real-world experience in architectural practice. Thus, with every design project, Jeremiah continues to embrace architecture as a powerful medium for the edification of the Houston community.
